If I could let you wander into a room containing my creative thoughts, you would be there for hours. My head is crammed with ideas, but in-between working full time as a science teacher and spending precious time with my wonderful husband and our two children the door to that room stays shut far too often. So, when I get a few spare hours here and there I sew. My first sewing experience was a Sindy doll skirt when I was about 8, I think my little girl still has it now in her dolls clothes box. Unfortunately, school didn’t offer any textile courses and I got a D in GCSE art, so I took the science route, which I was fairly good at! Here I am, nearly 30 years later re-discovering that sewing urge, so whenever that door is opened, I’ll give you a peep inside here on my blog.
